Firefox mobile (Fennec) alpha1 comes out

Mozilla在今天發佈了Fennec的aplha1下載版本。目前在手機上只有Nokia的N810型號才能使用，但電腦上則是Win/Linux/Mac都有各自對應的版本能下載使用。大家可以到這裡下載。

Mozilla解釋讓Fennec能在電腦上運做是為了能更快獲得更多意見回饋來改進Fennec。

個人覺得這樣是很好的用意，的確可以獲得更多回饋和大眾看法，網頁設計者也能體會網頁在小螢幕上顯示的情況更深刻。

大家都直覺認為Fennec的名字應該是Firefox mobile，但她就是叫做Fennec，是一種北非產的大耳小狐。我在XP上稍微試用過Fennec後覺得有些功能可以再合併精簡。像是上一頁下一頁的設計可以直接弄成滑鼠手勢（偵測單指快速左右滑動代表上一頁下一頁）。Fennec有著蠻平順的網頁拉動效果，點選進入設定選單時，畫面自動地往旁邊一拉顯示出選項，那種感覺和顯示方式還真是有意思（好像小螢幕也自動變大了）。Fennec alpha1在電腦上運作的速度感覺上並不快，將來應該也會支援add ons，也許foxmarks或Mozilla正在開發中的weave將來也能安裝上去吧。書籤同步可是很重要的。

由於我是在電腦上測試的，所以實際在手機上用起來應該感受會不一樣吧。
