Modularized, atomized grammar and concepts. We need Swadesh list and other modification of it to make this ontological base more usable for students in modern society.
Aim high, but shoot low.
I have a dream in building a construction mining program, and an ontological base for language learner, and testify the synesthesia for my geometrical grammar.
But I have to start it humbly. My thesis shall only be one small step for these goals. A real breakthrough for researchers and learners like me.
I chose my research question in the following manner:
It has to be finished within 1~ 2 years.
It has to be connected to my previous research interests.
It has to be a stepping stone for my further study in relevant areas.
It has to be practical and usable for real life and real people, immediately.
It has to be a profit-potential product so I can live on that.
It has to be programmable and modularized for further analysis and application.
For the reasons above, I decided to make "Dyslexia therapy installment by geometrical grammar" as my master thesis.
I chose it from the following candidates:
- Connotation and mining
- Testifying Geometrical grammar
- Synesthesia on syntax
- Dyslexia therapy installment by geometrical grammar: a quantitative research
- Automatic Pattern learner
- Ontology base for essential words (modified Swadesh list): vocabulary teaching
- SAI development through western pop music: a narrative research
And for practical reasons I have to find at least one instructor who is in NCCU, and probably some other relevant scholars and researchers in other institutes.
They are professed in various yet connected areas: computer science, linguistics, TESOL, therapist for dyslexia, fMRI brain researchers, app makers, novelist…and so on.
